David has worked within the London insurance market for over 30 years; as a broker (6 years), senior claims adjuster (10 years) and underwriter (20 years). He has specialised in healthcare liability since 1989.

In 1998 David worked as both senior claims adjuster and assistant underwriter at Zurich London until 2001 when he specialised solely in underwriting. In May 2004 he became Deputy Class Underwriter at Chaucer and was promoted to Class Underwriter in 2008.

David was promoted to Senior Class Underwriter in 2018.
