Xiaohan Fang (FCAS, MAAA) joined Coverys in October 2020 as an Underwriter for Syndicate 1975.

Prior to joining Coverys, Xiaohan was a Senior Actuary and SVP at Guy Carpenter, advising clients on reinsurance purchases for UK Motor XL, Aviation XL and Medical Malpractice.

Xiaohan has also served as a Divisional Actuary for Liberty Specialty Markets, focusing on treaty reinsurance for US General Liability, Worker’s Compensation, Medical Malpractice and UK Motor XL. He has also previously worked for ACE European Group and Liberty Mutual (Boston) in various actuarial roles.

Xiaohan has over a decade of actuarial experience and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He has served as the Chair of the Investment Committee for the CAS.
